Contact Coastal Medical Thermography to schedule your appointment. We’ll help you choose a convenient date and time and answer any questions you may have before your scan.
2. Choose a Convenient Location
Appointments are offered at our partnering locations throughout the Golden Isles: Saint Simons Island, Brunswick, Richmond Hill, and St. Mary’s.
3. Prepare for Your Scan
Before your appointment, you’ll receive simple preparation instructions to help ensure the most accurate thermal images possible.
4. Your Thermography Scan
During your appointment, thermal images are captured using a specialized infrared camera. The process is comfortable, painless, and involves no radiation, compression, or physical contact. The length of time depends on which package you choose.
5. Physician Review & Report
Your images are sent to a partnering physician for review. The physician evaluates your thermal patterns and provides a detailed report, which is then sent back to you—typically within the week.
6. Use Your Results as Part of Your Wellness Plan
Your report gives you additional information about your body's thermal patterns that you can discuss with your healthcare provider. Thermography is intended to be used as a complementary tool alongside appropriate medical care and other recommended testing.
